The judgment follows a review of Camel\u2019s supply chain, which determined that entries of batteries did not violate the UFLPA.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>United States Trade Representative (USTR)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">USTR released the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ustr.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/files\/Press\/Releases\/2026\/2026%20NTE%20Report%20_%20Final.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2026 National Trade Estimate Report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Foreign Trade Barriers (NTE). The report highlights significant foreign barriers to U.S. exports, U.S. foreign direct investment (FDI), and U.S. electronic commerce.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/videos\/2026-03-31\/ustr-greer-on-hormuz-china-talks-trade-tariffs-video\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">interview<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Bloomberg, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said plans are in the works to establish a Board of Trade to manage trade between the U.S. and China.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Congress<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">U.S. Senators Baldwin and Moreno <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baldwin.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/baldwin-moreno-call-on-trump-admin-to-open-investigation-into-heavy-equipment-manufacturers-protect-american-jobs\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wrote a letter <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to the Commerce Department asking it to open a 232 investigation into the national security threat of imports of heavy machinery.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Defending American Property Abroad <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pfluger.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=2868\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">passed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the House of Representatives. The bill would give the president the authority to prohibit passenger and cargo ships from calling on U.S. ports if they visited the former Vulcan Materials port in Mexico.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>U.S. Department of the Treasury<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FinCEN <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/diaztradelaw.com\/fincen-issues-nprm-to-fully-implement-whistleblower-program\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proposed a rule<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to establish a whistleblower program that offers incentives and protections to encourage individuals who have information about potential violations of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), Trading With the Enemy Act of 1917 (TWEA), and the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act (Kingpin Act).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>World Trade Organization (WTO)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14), members of the WTO <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/news_e\/news26_e\/mc14_30mar26_354_e.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">failed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to reach an agreement on extending the moratorium on customs duties for electronic transmissions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OFAC issued a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ofac.treasury.gov\/media\/935441\/download?inline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sanctions advisory<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to highlight sanctions risks arising from sham transactions used to evade sanctions and to identify factors to consider when evaluating whether property may be the subject of a sham transaction.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OFAC <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ofac.treasury.gov\/recent-actions\/20260327_33\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">issued<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> several Venezuela-related General Licenses, including gold, services for minerals operations, and certain investments in Venezuela\u2019s minerals sector.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Department of Commerce<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Department of Commerce <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commerce.gov\/news\/fact-sheets\/2026\/03\/fact-sheet-new-energy-projects-us-japan-trade-deal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">released<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a Fact Sheet announcing three new energy projects under the U.S.-Japan trade deal.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Department of Commerce\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NOAA) <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seafoodsource.com\/news\/foodservice-retail\/noaa-issues-usd-222-902-in-penalties-over-mislabeling-tuna-imports\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">issued<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> over $222,000 in civil penalties against two seafood importers accused of mislabeling tuna cans as \u201cdolphin safe.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Federal Drug Administration (FDA)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/cms_ia\/importalert_224.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">medical instruments from Pakistan<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/cms_ia\/importalert_118.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">foods containing undeclared colors<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Federal Maritime Commission (FMC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/media.cadc.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/docs\/2026\/03\/24-1298-2166261.pdf\"><span href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/newsreleases\/epa-officials-visit-port-new-yorknewark-during-inspection-activities-prevent-illegal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">visited<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the port of New York\/Newark as part of inspection activities to prevent the importation of illegal toxic and polluting imports.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EPA issued a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2026\/03\/30\/2026-06066\/reporting-deadline-extension-for-the-health-and-safety-data-reporting-rule-under-toxic-substance\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proposed rule<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to extend the reporting deadline for the Health and Safety Data Reporting Rule by one year until May 21, 2027.
