Fred is experienced in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC). His work includes preparing and coordinating responses to the DOC\u2019s questionnaires and advocating clients\u2019 legal and factual positions throughout the course of investigations and administrative reviews. He has represented clients across a range of industries, including agriculture, industrial goods, and renewable energy.<\/p>\n
In addition, he regularly represents importers and exporters in U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) matters, including seizure, detention, tariff classification, valuation, country-of-origin issues, and compliance with free trade agreements. His practice also includes helping clients develop and maintain effective customs compliance programs.<\/p>\n
Fred received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Anthony Trenga at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.<\/p>\n
